Everlight Ministry of Theology (EMT) is a nonprofit Christian educational ministry dedicated to providing biblical and theological education for believers pursuing ministry, leadership, and service within the Body of Christ.
EMT functions as a religious educational institution—not a secular college or university—and all programs and credentials we offer are religious in nature.

First Amendment Protections

Under the protections of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution, EMT exercises its right to provide faith-based education and to confer religious degrees that prepare students for employment and service within churches, ministries, and other faith-based organizations.
EMT neither seeks nor claims secular licensure or accreditation, and its programs are not intended to meet requirements for state-regulated professions or secular occupational licensure.
All academic titles and programs clearly reflect their religious and ecclesiastical nature

Institutional Authorization & Disclaimer

EMT operates under its religious and educational mission. Degrees and certificates issued by EMT are religious in nature and intended for ministry, discipleship, and leadership within faith-based contexts.
These credentials are not designed to lead to secular licensure or government-regulated employment, and EMT does not represent itself as accredited or licensed for secular purposes.
Prospective students should verify with employers or other institutions whether an EMT credential meets their specific requirements.

4. Admissions & Academic Policies

EMT welcomes applicants who demonstrate Christian character, academic readiness, and a clear calling to ministry or Christian scholarship.
Admissions decisions consider prior education, references, and a personal statement of faith and purpose.

General Admission Requirements (Graduate)

  1. Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited or recognized institution (field preferred as noted in each program).
  2. Provide a statement of purpose articulating ministry calling and academic goals.
  3. Submit two letters of recommendation (pastoral and academic/professional).
  4. Provide official transcripts of all prior postsecondary study.
  5. Complete a brief admissions interview or orientation with EMT faculty.

Academic Integrity & Grading

EMT upholds Christian character and academic honesty.
Plagiarism or academic dishonesty may result in course failure or dismissal.
Grading rubrics are provided in each syllabus.
Graduate Grading Scale:
A (90–100), B (80–89), C (70–79), F (below 80).

Purpose and Mission

The Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies at Everlight Ministry of Theology (EMT) provides a comprehensive theological foundation rooted in Scripture and Christian doctrine.
This program equips students for ministry, teaching, Christian leadership, and advanced theological study through a rigorous, faith-based curriculum that integrates academic excellence with spiritual formation.

Program Description

The B.A. in Biblical Studies is a 120-credit undergraduate degree that combines foundational theological instruction, doctrinal and historical study, and applied ministry development.
Students progress through a sequence of core modules culminating in the Bachelor Thesis Project, demonstrating mastery of biblical interpretation, theological research, and ministry application.

The program is delivered fully online under EMT’s guided mentorship model, fostering intellectual, spiritual, and ethical growth while developing academic and ministerial competencies.

Capstone Requirement

BIB 500 – Bachelor Thesis Project (6 Credits, 6,000–8,000 Words)
Students complete an independent research project under faculty supervision and record a 10–15 minute oral defense summarizing their findings.
This project demonstrates theological synthesis, academic writing ability, and practical ministry application.


Mode of Study

  • Mentorship: Each student is assigned a Faculty Advisor or Thesis Supervisor.

  • Assessment: Essay projects, research papers, comprehensive exam, and oral defense.

Degree Purpose

The Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies is a religious and ecclesiastical degree, awarded under EMT’s authority as a Christian educational ministry registered in the State of Wyoming.
The degree is intended for ministerial, theological, and educational vocations within the church and is not designed for secular licensure or state-regulated employment.


Graduation Requirements

To qualify for graduation, students must:

  1. Complete all modules (120 credits total) with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (B).

  2. Successfully complete and defend the Bachelor Thesis Project.

  3. Pass the Comprehensive Exam and Mentorship Reflection requirements.

  4. Demonstrate Christian character, ethics, and integrity throughout the program.
