6. Research Methods & Orientation (Graduate Core)

This foundational course introduces all M.A. students to theological research, academic writing, and hermeneutical analysis. Students learn to structure arguments, evaluate sources, and apply sound theological methods to scholarly inquiry.

1. Demonstrate graduate-level research and writing proficiency.
2. Apply sound hermeneutical and theological methods to scholarly inquiry.
3. Formulate research questions leading to publishable-quality essays.
4. Practice academic integrity and ethical use of sources.
5. Prepare a capstone proposal aligned with program objectives.
